Functional panels

bulthaup has opened up the multi-function wall, making use of the space between the panels and room wall for the first time. The panels have been divided into four sections, or louvers. These can be opened to create additional pouch-like compartments where chopping boards, cookbooks, towels and utensils can be placed when preparing and cooking food. This leaves the entire work surface clear – especially important in small kitchens. With the louvers closed, the functional panels boast a sleek, minimalist look – or if interspersed with an eye-catching material, the panels can make a bold statement.

Shutter unit

Depending on the room design, the new shutter unit blends in seamlessly with other kitchen fronts or is a striking feature in its own right. Available in a range of b3 materials and colors, the flat shutter slats form a flush surface when the unit is closed or half open. Complete with a robust, easy-to-clean stainless steel base, it is perfect for storing coffee machines, food processors and other small appliances –which can be easily accessed without an open door getting in the way. Interior lighting and a leather handle round out this functional and chic piece.

e-touch technology for the fridge and tall pull-out unit

The e-touch electronic opening mechanism is the latest addition to the b3 fridge and tall pull-out unit. With a simple push, the door opens slightly – and either the user opens it fully or it closes automatically in three seconds. Thanks to the E-Touch system, the last remaining handles have disappeared from bulthaup b3.

Kitchen roll holder

The highly attractive cylindrical kitchen roll holder in aluminum slots neatly into the functional prisms – and can be used elsewhere, too. The user can take it out and carry it to wherever it is needed. As with all interior elements of this system, the kitchen roll holder can be placed anywhere within the drawer or pull-out. It is suitable for paper towels, plastic wrap and aluminum foil rolls inall common international formats and sizes.

Utensil inserts with leather lining

The dark brown saddle leather lining is a stylish addition to the utensil inserts. The liner is over two millimeters thick, making the insert ideal for showcasing silver cutlery and accessories – and a chic place to store watches and jewelry while cooking.

Spice jars

With their unusual diamond shape, the spice jars fit perfectly into the prisms, and can be arranged side-by-side. They also look highly attractive on the countertop or the dining table, whether they are placed upright or on their sides. The jars are made of fire-polished glass, and feature ribbed aluminum lids.

Storage containers

The three storage containers (0.8, 1.2 and 2.8 liters) feature an asymmetrical base that firmly anchors them to the prism structure. They are also highly stable when placed on the table or counter– and lean towards the user. Made of high-quality white plastic, they have the appearance of fine porcelain. The transparent lids have been designed to "lock in" aromas – conserving the flavors and scents of spices and other ingredients.

Plate storage set

In the new plate storage set, plates are not stacked on top of each other. Instead, they are stored vertically – making them easier to remove. The set can be flexibly arranged within the functional prisms to accommodate a variety of plates, shallow bowls, pot lids, and cutting boards of various sizes.

Bread container

The new 15-liter white stoneware bread container is ideal for storing large bread loaves, or for multiple loaves. The lid is made of untreated sycamore maple, and features a lip on the reverse side– making it suitable for use as a cutting board. The stoneware draws in moisture and releases it very slowly, keeping the bread fresh and crisp for many days. And thanks to sycamore maple's high tannin content, the lid has a natural anti-bacterial effect.
